I am currently plowing through all the challenges and boy this game is fun :) :) Love the hunting so much!! Those bears are scary mofos! Nothing quite like shooting a bear right between the eyes with a sniper rifle and watching him fall to the ground lol

In MP or free roam (like Penny Arcade says) it's too stripped down. There should be more content from SP available in there. Poker, horseshoes, all of it is begging to be played with friends.. Why isn't it there playable is beyond me.

About 20 hours. The reason I'm saying there isn't enough to do is purely subjective. I don't like grinding, so I don't do the challenges unless I run across what I need (and I mean seriously, shooting birds from a train?) So after every story mission I try to mix it up with whatever I can find on the map, and right now there is nothing to do.

I usually don't like grinding either, but this game has me trying to track down every little thing. The treasure hunting has me hooked! I spend 70% of my time just riding and doing challenges. The game is SOOO friggin' huge!..

Fuck this shit. I haven't been able to play online at all. And I'm the only one on my FL to have this problem. It's so frustrating it makes me hate this game.

Damn I wish my fucking tax return would show up! I so want this game and everyone on my friends list playing this game is just salt in the wounds lol. Everyone I've talked to loves the game to death, it's been a long time since I've seen SOOO many people who all love a game so damn much. This game really must be something special.

I can't wait to play it.

Ok just beat the game, gonna talk about the ending for those that have finished it... please don't highlight if you don't want the ending spoiled!!!

WOW! I was in total shock at the end to this game. I figured the game was over when you got back to your farm but no. I totally didn't see the whole Jon dying and playing as Jack to end the game as the ending, but it totally makes sense when you think about the name of the game (being Red Dead REDEMPTION after all). I've never felt so satisfied with an ending lol that was wild.

Close to 34 hours played and got to the last area yestarday. Spent all time finishing those challenges, unlocked my Legend of the west outfit, quite cool!

I have to say the hunter challenge to kill a Bear with a knife took me a while tough bastard :D

Now i can focus on the story missions and finish the game. Can't say how much i'm enjoying this game, so good.

I have my game now,its very nice the Special Edition,comes with a slip case that folds and includes a freaking huge map that in the reverse side has a sick poster of some lady , the Deadly Assassin Outfit and the Soundtrack :)

Buuut I fell asleep last night waiting for my little girl to sleep and I didnt play it :(

Played the game,the atmosphere the game has its insane I was constantly remembering times when I was fishing or in the wild it was amazing,the lighting the game has its something else too.

I loved the shooting,Im playing expert and I needed sometime to get used too but when you do its awesome.

I didnt played that much though I had things to do but the little I played I can see myself putting 100 hours in this,hunting its addicting and I discovered a outfit and immediatly wanted to go hunting the pieces,it was teh genttlemen attire I think to be able to cheat in poker

Nothing like GTA4 to me,the opposite in fact,cant wait to play more.

This game lived up to his hype and surpased it for me,its very awesome I love it!!

I got the game even though every fiber within me told me not to, and as I suspected...the setting and theme just kill it for me.

It's an absolutely stunning looking game, but that just isn't enough. The voice acting is excellent (Duh, R* title) with plenty of witty dialogue and all, but the gameplay itself falls short. Shooting isn't that great, and horseriding is such a pain in the ass...booooringg. Just 2-3 hours in and I was already bored to death.

Unlike others, I don't find much pleasure in treasure/loot/animal hunting or doing silly random sidequests. After having traveled through the beautifull, but very repetitive and boring countryside for 3 hours, that novelty has worn of as well.

I'm sure there's all sorts of awesome in this game, but not for me. Will trade this in tomorrow I think...

I think thats the reason you dont like it,I love doin sidemissions and if those sidemissions are hunting,treasure finding with a map its just Epic to me.

Sidemissions its all I want to do here,I hope they never end and that they respawn I want to do them forever!!

If you don't like sidemissions and entertaining yourself etc in such a vast open world next to the main story missions, I guess sandbox games just aren't for you..

I love it! I like RDR even more then I did GTA-IV.. I love the setting/atmosphere, and do a lot of sidemissions and challenges too, I don't want to rush thru the main story missions..

Argh... was playing earlier toay then after few minutes: puff, suddenly TV went all dark, saying funcion not available, using Component HD AV Cable... tried plug/unplug etc didn't help.

Started PS3 up using HDMI and it worked fine, TV seems fine besides this.

Guess my cable just died? Quite annoying stuff, really wanted to play, and will need buy new cable now >_> :(
