I've been a believer for a while. I turned from cautious to very optimistic soon after the arcade version was released and people started posting vids of tournament level play on youtube. I still don't think it's going to beat Third Strike in a lot of ways, but it looks like a great game.

Only watched the first match, the guy playing Dhalsim was deffinately the better player.

Whats with the fireballs also, there is no skill it that IMO.

Yeah, I'm pretty bad at SF, but it was even painfully obvious to me that whoever was playing as Sagat was pretty outclassed.

He didn't press the fight at all, but he also had pretty poor defense.

Unfortunately, I think he'd still probably beat me :( lol

I think he didn't know how to approach a Dalshim, which he probably didn't face during the tournament--or a decent one at that.

Knowing your opponent is definitely a key component to being successful.. you're probably on to something there. Even these really dedicated tourny players are relatively new to the game.. given.. its newness.

Would depend on what games you've been playing before SFIV also. If you've been playing SF3TS earlier, there's no Dhalsim in that game. Also, sometimes you just face players that have such a strange play-style that you can't help but get your ass whooped. Adjusting your strategy against some guy playing all weird might take more than one try :)

But all the rounds were just pokes and hadouken spam, incredibly boring to watch as always.

yeah he's done playing SFIV for now, he was pretty horrible at the game really.lol(kinda understandable as he downloaded and just starting playing and recording right off the bat) And naw, bother Sakura and Cammy will appear on both versions.
