Finally got the game! I got the Asian version. I didn't know the regular one came with the calendar! Seeing the game live is way better than watching it on the net.

Agreed, seeing this on your HDTV is pretty amazing, one thing I will say though is if you get this game, get a proper arcade stick because playing this on a controll pad is almost impossible.

The music is pretty good in this game aswell :D

I find it hard to believe there are those out there that actually prefer game pads when it comes to arcade fighters, but they exist! Screw that though.

I'm right here Grift, and I whooped your sorry can all up an down Soul Calibur IV when we were boosting for achievements and you told me what buttons to push. And I'll be doing it again one day when I get Street Fighter IV and we're boosting for achievements and you tell me what buttons to push.

But seriously I was raised on Tekken and that means Dualshock. And I'm far too cheap to buy a fighting stick considering I don't play fighters enough to warrant owning one. Same with racing wheels and light guns.

Anyone who prefers a pad to a stick just doesn't get it imo. No way is it possible to play as well with a pad as with a stick, once you get used to it. If you claim to prefer playing with a pad it's because you haven't practiced enough with a stick.

That's ridiculous. How many editions of Guitar Hero did you need to own before you bought a plastic guitar. Pads suck!

If I could get SFIV with a fighting stick bundled in for $80 I would, but all they give out is a dvd and a figurine. Seriously, the only thing I'd spend $130 on would be two games with tax. Spending $130 on a game in a genre I'm not into is a waste.

For some reason this just sounds sorta hilarious coming from a dude who often buys multiple copies of the same game and owns the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. Plus, are you a music game nut, all of a sudden? I'm pretty sure you've probably spent more money on fake instruments, even if you've only ever bought one or two silly rock games.

If you own more than one fighting game you already own more than one game that you could use an arcade stick with. On the other hand, I've played Soul Calibur with you. So maybe you should just let this one sit on the shelves for a while anyway ;)

The problem is that the sticks are so expensive even for a gamer who is into the fighting genre.

I can see Phaethons point though you can buy 2 games for the price of an arcade stick, if your not into the genre much it does seem like a waste of money.

I don't own one myself but if I do buy one I only hope the next gen systems will support the same controllers.

The Halo 3 Legendary Ed that I got for $70? Oh yea, that one. And no, not a music game nut, but I see $80-130 for a music game bundle to be a paltry sum compared to a fighting stick. Why? Because I'm far more likely to get more of my friends involved with a game of Guitar Hero or Rock Band than sitting everyone around ONE fighting stick and a fighting game...

I would happily use a gamepad and save £100 (The price of a Pre-Owned 360 Arcade), I was brought up on gamepad streetfighter anyway so its all good. I've never owned an Arcade stick so you know what they say, "you cant miss what you've never experienced" :)
