I’ve been playing the beta since it was publicly available, and I honestly believe this is the best multiplayer FPS since Counterstrike (sure CS ain't that impressive now, but when it was released it was a big step forward)....

Too bad there aren't many developers out there who make such an effort to create innovative graphics and game play design like Valve... Slowly getting sick of all the "wish I looked realistic" shooters released in recent few years...

Kudos! Wins for my best graphics and game play of the year! Makes Halo3 look like just another ordinary game... which it is...

Yea I still play cs 1.6 too and still loving it!

It was a 5v5 scrim first to 16 using league rules, but as you can see at one point or another there were others that entered the scrim (due to noobs that leave when they're losing =P)

More people playing the 360 TF2 tonight than were earlier.

Game is really great online, I get that old Quakeworld TF vibe lots of times, which I never got in TFC...

Even HL2:EP2 on the PC has achievements now.. GG @ Valve for stealing that idea from Xbox Live, I like it.. :)

just played TF2 on the 360, and i gotta say it's a lot of fun, and its very funny (the taunts, art style, overall feeling) :D. too bad its not as smooth as halo's online.

and if only it has some sort of AA to filter out the jaggy (probably not a problem with the PC version), this game looks absolutely wonderful. first thing that comes to mind is Toy Story :P

It's both hilarious, cool looking, and it gives me the old Quake 1 vibe (especially on 2fort). I agree I haven't had any flawless games as far as lag, like I do in Halo 3 or COD4 beta (mostly). Although, there's so few people hosting, I think it's possible that these people just don't have enough upload to host 16 players...

I can see the jaggies in TF2 on 360 if I look, but it's certainly not bad. Halo 3 is far more jaggy looking, for example.

I would like to try it on 360 and see how it feels. On PC its great, considering its its orginal platform.

I've been following the beta version; the gameplay is quite interesting. Although the graphics aren't great, I think they're acceptable. Hopefully, the graphics will be better after the official update.
