Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Strange memories on this nervous night in Las Vegas. Has it been five years? Six? It seems like a lifetime.
Gentlemen.
I swear.. they really must just be missing something here. Did they not know the controversy that this would cause? It seems.. not. They also mention that the game does not officially have a publisher yet, so all of those EA conspiracy theories should be put to rest immediately.
I love these guys.. I just still don't get this. But hey, at least it's not a $60 "expansion," like some games are getting.. and is actually packed with original content.

Edit: wow $2.50 for the game and another $2.50 for the expansion.
Oh, and auto-patching/updating sorta rules..

June 8, 2009, 4:44 pm - Valve - Product Release
The Indie studio Tale of Tales, who produced the award winning experimental games The Graveyard and The Path has released a free demo in The Path - Prologue.
Think I'll check this out in a little bit. I have not heard much about this game, but the impressions I'm seeing elsewhere are pretty positive. I love the indie-scene on the PC.. if it weren't for small studios this genre may have died already.
Oh--and I would like to add one more reason that steam rules: The auto-join option for full servers! What a feature.. Xfire should add this.

I can't wait until this gets posted on Digg.. I want to see how much their membership swells. They're already up to nearly 20k users. I just hope that they keep a mature face about this whole thing.. they don't need the sorts of idiots that jam up the Steam forums taking any kind of lead on this issue.
That shit just feeds the opposition. Which leads to comments like this:
"These whiny fanboys are just petulant children who would rather get angry at an imagined injustice than actually enjoy life and the unforseen pleasures it can bring, and shouldn't be given an ounce of consideration because the attention would only encourage their asinine antics."
..and honestly, these people have no idea what they're talking about. I hate the whole, "you can't possibly complain about anything online," crowd. They bitch about the bitching more than the bitching bitches itself ;)
Too bad he also told them to go for it..
Engine
* Fixed Day of Defeat: Source server crash when loading dod_jagd.
Team Fortress 2
* Added a "Discard" button to the item pickup panel.
* Added a backstab custom death animation to the Heavy.
* Changed default for tf_arena_use_queue to 1. This was the original behavior prior to the last update.
* Changed the Dead Ringer so it can be activated while carrying the flag.
* Increased the Force-A-Nature's damage by 10%.
* Fixed not being able to reflect arrows with the Flamethrower.
* Fixed The Huntsman drawing a muzzle flash under lagged conditions.
* Fixed the background color of the Spy disguise panel not always matching his disguise team.
* Fixed idle players being kicked when the server has tf_arena_use_queue set to 0.
* Fixed Spies not being able to sap a building if an enemy player was colliding with the building.
* Fixed getting a real target ID on an enemy Spy that's disguised as one of your teammates if you are disguised as an enemy.
* Fixed the Ambassador not shooting enemy sticky bombs.
* Fixed Spies being able to automatically cloak after uncloaking at the moment of a weapon switch.
* Fixed Jarate instantly exploding when thrown in some places, like the final area of Badwater.
* Fixed spectators not having their items removed when they enter spectator mode.
* Fixed Sniper "civilian" exploit where players could crash the server.
* Fixed a couple of cases where viable backstabs would fail.
I'm not sure how I feel about Force-A-Nature doing +10% damage.. that should theoretically put it ahead of the Scattergun in damage :(
Neat. I didn't realize that this was still a free franchise. Yeah people will bitch about the propagandist aspects of AA forever--but never mind that for a minute--lets consider again for a moment that it's an actual game too. I've never played the original two releases, has anyone else? I was under the impression that they're actually pretty good, and put a heavy emphasis on sim-like realism. Is that the case? Guess I'll find out....
I'll pre-load right now!
Also: I guess this is just a remake of the original game, as was AA2? It's a little confusing, but I've seen some comparison screenshots, and it seems as if they're recreating all of their old assets in UE3.
I saw a couple of vids of the new game, the weapon models and animations look horrifically bad, hopefully they were just placeholder but they certainly didnt instill confidence.

I have a feeling that TF2 and COD4 will keep me satisfied for a little while longer.
I'll still give it a spin though... I want to try ArmA2, too.
Me dead today :(
And i still only have the hat for sniper :( Where the hell are my hats??

I'm trying out the Eve Online 21 day trail...
But If ever a game is overwhelming...
THIS IS IT.... So many things to do/click on/investigate/read about...
I'm going apeshit here... Looks like it's really hard to get into this game after these 9 expensions....
