Been trying to buy Torchlight today from my phone (3 hours away from home and my comp) but it's not workinv cor some reason. :( Hopefully can find a comp tomorrow somewhere before sale's over.
You've got 20 hours still! Torchlight rules. There's a really cool Torchlight mod manager too if you get bored with the vanilla game (which you won't for some time!).

If it wasn't so easy to beat... soundtrack should be unlockable but ya need to buy it.

Yeah, Shatter is superb. And yes, it's also over sooner than you want it to be. That's not to say it's short... sorta.. it's just that you really want it to be longer.

Got Zeno Clash today and kinda feel compelled to get the Half Life Complete pack just to have the eps to go with my pc hl2 and to actually play the hl1 expansions for the first time.

Hoping fo Dawn of War 2 in tomorrow's sale and if I can grab that I've really sorta nailed the starter PC lineup I was hoping for. Still inexplicably putting off an inevitable pickup of the Fright pack and the one with Gish and And yet it Moves in it. Oh and getting Audiosurf too. :D

Good expectations. I sorta jumped into DOW2 assuming it'd be something between DOW1 and COH (I hadn't read previews), boy was I wrong. Still, a great game.

Okay, I will try not to get carried away with this statement but VVVVVV is pretty fucking awesome. Like.. take how awesome you realistically believe it is, and then triple that.

I'm saving elaborating further until I finish it, but that's preliminary status of my feedback.

Yea I was interested in VVVVVV briefly, but I think I'll have to pass. It's just hitting at a time when I just acquired Super Meat Boy, and still have Braid, Bionic Commando, and Trine to properly digest.

Super Meat Boy alone is enough platforming goodness to keep anyone entertained almost indefinitely. It's that good.

Yeah I totally get not wanting to drown in a pile of games. The sale has set me up with far more games than I'm comfortable juggling, all too often resulting in not playing any one game properly, so I've made folders/categories to line things up and be methodical in playing them instead of hopping around willy nilly.


Finished VVVVVV in one sitting just now. What an amazing, charming, clever little game. Almost got a little misty eyed at the end. :D

Spectacular soundtrack, too, which I wouldn't mind shelling out a little for even.

I got F UUUUUU gifted last night and the game is as good as hype leads you to believe. However, the extra challenges are just too challenging to me, I got 15/20 trinckets and I think I'm done. Still, a really nice distraction.

Assault on Dark Athena is the weekend deal! Screens remind me how much I really enjoyed Escape from Butcher Bay. Excellent game and wholeheartedly recommended.


I can't wait for Starbreeze's Syndicate to be unveiled. :O

I honestly have to say, learning that the STALKER pack didn't include Clear Skies *for no apparent reason* is a pretty major bummer. I mean what the hell? It's on steam!

It's not that I'm so cheap paying 5 euros for two huge games feels like a ripoff, but Clear Skies turns out to be the actual "sequel" to STALKER, giving the omission an even less sense making quality.

This is kinda neat. Valve luring PS3 players to Steam!
PlayStation 3 users who buy Portal 2 will be able to download a PC or Mac copy of the game for free, provided they link their PlayStation Network and Steam accounts, Valve announced today. A number of cross-platform features were also revealed, which allow PS3, PC, and Mac users to play together, complete with online chat. PS3 users will also be able to save their games to a cloud-based storage system.
