First 2 have been for me. Easily the best this gen has to offer. 10/10 seems about as fitting a score as they could give tbh. Hell they even state it doesnt mean 'perfection' just the closest thing to it. Uncharted 2 was already that game for me, i have no doubt ND will achieve that again.

The first two games had major problems that rear their ugly head towards the end. Bullet sponge enemies that take way too much hits. In Uncharted 2 after the Tibetan village exploration...when you head inside the glacier/mountain and that super beast creature shows up...even that takes way too many bullets. And the enemies in the secret city area just made me mad! And don't forget about the awful boss fight in Uncharted 2.

I like this series but IMO none of the two Uncharted games I have played are as good as Jak 3, I personally liked Uncharted 1 more than 2. It was better designed compared to the second.

Uncharted 2 was great, but yeah, it wasn't a 10/10 game for sure. There were far to many issues with the controls, especially the cover system which was really bad and the last 3hrs of the game seem to drag a bit. Hopefully those things have been fixed in the new game, but to be honest, its going to be great either way.

Thought jak was ass personally aside from the very first in the series. The boss in U2 was crappy, but it wasnt enough to change my feelings towards the game, it is by far the closest thing to perfection in gaming for me. It's a game that has actually had a negative effect on all other games since it is so much more polished. It shows you what a game CAN be, and how far off every other game IS. Hell, theres a reason it won SO many awards.

I never played the first Jak & Daxter but I played Jak 3 then Jak 2. Jak 3 quickly became my favourite game on PS3 by far, the game had:

*Top notch characters (I loved the interaction between Pecker and Daxter the most)
*Great voice acting
*THE BEST graphics engine on PS2 (beautiful game, high LOD, minimal popups, ability to pull out your hoover board and check out all the environments)
*Great mission design from destroying buggies, to taking out giant bosses, to fun gliding missions the game had it all. Great game design and to me, it never got boring. The shooting mechanics were questionable but semi auto aim made it tolerable
*The controls were great

To me Jak 3 is one of the best open world games I have played, it even stands tall against the games today. My fav open world games:

1.) Red Faction Guerrilla
2.) inFamous 1
3.) GTAIV & Ballad of Gay Tony
4.) Jak 3
5.) inFamous 2
6.) Mafia 2

Naughty Dog got soo much right with Jak 3, I can't wait for them to tackle the genre again in the future with more powerful hardware at their disposal.

I mean imagine an Uncharted game with Crysis (PC) level graphics and interactivity. Shooting down trees then climbing them to get to new areas etc.

Jak 2 was terrible indeed, I totally hated it compared to Jak 3. But the thing is, Amy Henning and some other staff members who worked on Legacy of Cain series joined after ND had finished Jak 2. And it clearly showed, Naughty Dog hasn't made a bad game since Jak 2. And the LoC staff has improved the quality of their titles A LOT.

Well into uncharted 3 today (chapter 10) and yea this isn't 10/10 material AT ALL....

Still feels like a 7/10 game just like Uncharted 2. The aiming bug is making the experience worse for me, the part where your foot gets stuck (when the cheatu is on fire) was so awful...I died like 7 times since the aiming is so wonky.

And still even though the set pieces/movie like experience is cool the first time around, I doubt I will replay this game.

Also this engine is maxed out, way too many frame rate problems. Especially when those "pests" show up.

I really hope Naughty Dog takes a brake from this series and does something new for PS4. I hope they didn't fire the designers behind Jak 3.

yea but the game keeps getting better and better!! the last few chapters have been kick ass

I loved the ship yard stealth level
the chase in the market
and getting to the boat

Just beat it, great game, my second favourite after Uncharted 1. The last 10 or 12 chapters were fantastic. The stealth shipyard level being my favourite by far. That was some superb level design and gameplay design right there

I would say the game is a solid 8/10 if not barely a 9/10. It had fantastic presentation/story but the gameplay especially the gunplay was weak in many areas and dragged it down a bit. For me uncharted games have all been really fun, but after one playthrough it's not the type of game I find myself wanting to play over and over again. On top of that I find nothing fun in the mp other than the co-op stuff which can be pretty fun at times.

The campaigns are amazing, but they offer little in replay value, IMO, but it's still a must play game for sure.

It is everything i want from a game, action, adventure, great story, great characters, fantastic locations, varied scenes, great music.. as a fan of all treasure hunting entertainment (hell i even love fools gold) this was just shit hot on every level :D thank you ND

And replay value, i have completed the first 2 countless times now and i cant see this one been any less plays :)

Oh 1 niggle.. where are my unlockables :( cheats, skins, different modes (single player only, like flip world) this is the only thing that made me sad :( apart from the fact it ended ..

yea I agree, this is a great game. I think I will play all the Uncharted games on maximum difficulty. I just love the combat and the traversing in this series. I REALLY REALLY hope the next one is for Playstation 4 and supports Crysis like level design, with big emphasis on real time physics to solve puzzles. ND has maxed out PS3

I juat hope there is more uncharted. ND have a tendancy to up and leave an IP once a new gen of consoles come around. I hope it isnt the case with uncharted. I'd love a 4th and final for PS3, would end the PS3's life really well. Then see more on PS4. Depends when they plan on releasing the PS4 i guess. Launch PS4 title would be nice. But if there is say, 3 years left of this current gen, i'd like another one in there.

Game was awesome tho, easy GOTY for me. Gonna play through again in 3D and go for all the treasures. Then i guess the vita game will be my next stop for my uncharted fix. Roll on february

I don't think they will leave it, the characters are awesome and so is the gameplay (a lot of room to improve though) Really forward to the next game, PS4 or not. I want more!

korn on hip aiming do a circular motion with the right analogue and your target will go "round" do it while aiming with L1 and you will see its not circular more square in its motions.. throws me well out.

Invited a couple of the fans having the issue..o.0 wow that's a new one, most devs say "we cant even be arsed to read your posts, let alone take you seriously, you bought the game now fuck off"

I think the patch hits next week, can't wait. I think this will be my GOTY as well but I played some other fantastic games this year including Deus Ex and Witcher 2 (both have weak endings though)

yea that stuff was totally brilliant, I loved this game. I plan on beating all three Uncharted games on Crushing difficulty now and I can't for the 4th
