I want to be like someone cool form The Brotherhood of the Wold. Long dark coat, piare like hat, scarf, gloves, dark pants, pistols, rifles and Rapier.
Damn that looks mighty great!

Bowerstone looks great.. awesome shadows, love the lighting and he's still expecting more improvements :)

Anyway, yeah Op I loved the lighting and shows in the forest. But heres the thing, why ignore such beauty when it already looks this good in early built. We understand it is early, but yet it looks good for such a stage.
Now think about how it looks when it is done.
When I am looking at the latest GDC images I can't think of how much amazing visuals we are gonna see in Fable 2.
For example seeing that CGI in the very beginning of the trailer when those fireflies flies to the little girl, but the camera shows a very big atmosphere and climax of the curved design of the mountains, it gets my throat dry and my heart go crazy when we see that in-game engine when it is done.
With these kind of titles, no wonder I picked up the 360 in the first place.
Fable 2, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Halo 3, Dark Sector, Assassin's Creed, Knights of the Old Republic III (hopefully), Ninja Gaiden 2...etc. just titles to mention the great library for the 360.

In Fable some parts was not confined, but it was mostly in the villages and town and so on.
I do hope it's more like Oblivion, but not in a such a big range of freedom. I do not want to go into forest up in the mountains that leads no where and I lost like 1-3 hours of gaming time to see how big Fable is.

That means even you could fall off. In the IGN preview it said that Molyneux estimated if you choose to rush through the game as fast as possible you could possibly beat it in 12 hours. I'm sure I'm going to take far longer than that to beat the game and I really respect what Peter Moore said.
Lionhead wants to try to innovate and the company wasn't made to simply make games better by just making everything bigger and add larger numbers of things. I think this whole dog idea is an impressive thing. If you are hurt the dog sticks closer to you if you are perfectly fine he'll track a bit ahead of you. The dog itself is like your hp bar.
Properly sticking next to you in a town or something. Or being able to coerce you to checkout other areas, able to dig up stuff you might find to be of interest. Changing his behavior in new areas charging further ahead to make sure theres no danger. Being able to leave the dog far behind and he'll still attempt to come back and find you. Great stuff I can't wait for this game. Loved the first one can't wait for the sequel.

I have a dog, I could never imagine doing that to him. Yup, Fable 2 is shaping up to be something special from this video.

One of the areas Charlton showed me was [CENSORwood], only one of the many areas in Fable 2. For those of you, who played Fable 1, think of all the Greatwood regions, add them together and you come close to the size of [CENSORwood], and mind you this is only one region! Since we are planning to allow players to leap off cliffs for example, we have to be extra cautious with the design, as every effort has to be made to make sure that players don't get stuck.

Ahhh there we go raz nice find :)
I also know not many games will do this and I don't mind, but I agree totally with what Peter said why go through the trouble of building such a beautiful world if people can navigate it via some minimap. The dog thing is a really great idea. It sounds simple at first, but there are many possibilities for it.

By the way, that's a flammable substance smeared on your body, so I would be careful with that candle if I were you... or all the people you've burned with your act just might have their revenge.
Also, not to totally get off topic, I wonder if you can be a bounty hunter in Fable 2, and have your dog track down your targets and what not?
