Don't forget about region lock. :/ €250 is ridiculous, I'm definitely waiting, besides the lineup is sorta craptastic at the moment. Ghost Reacon appears to be the only interesting game for me. Gotta go back to good old DSLite finally, I heard Ghost Trick and 999 are plenty good.

Yep, there are still many DS games I intend to get.
I'm kicking myself for only getting one for Christmas, when that system has my biggest backlog.

At least it was a good one though - Bangai-O Spirits. I expect never to beat it.

I'm undecided if I'm gonna try flogging my current DS Lite now to get the most for it or await what's sure to be some pretty tantalizing trade-in deals for the 3DS launch.

I really hope Rayman 3D is a great version of Rayman 2 (one without the voice acting they forced on it for Rayman "Revolution", urrrhghhh) because while I still have it for Dreamcast I so very rarely plug that in anymore. It's such a beautiful game, too, and it could look pretty sweet in 3D.

Prolly going with DOA Dimensions, Super Monkey Ball 3D and possibly Ridge Racer 3D if that doesn't turn out a shoddy rush job like the DS one.

It's disappointing that ever present rumour Metroid Dread or the very real Kid Icarus aren't part of the launch lineup, but hopefully they don't trail too far behind.

Even if RR3D is just a 3D rendered and buffed up online version of RR2 for the PSP it will still be a very good game.

I didn't know the thing had a gyroscope in it. That could solve a lot of issues some games had on the DS.

Another thing -
Wasn't Nintendo going to switch to a matte finish? I really hate the gloss; it's too easily damaged.
Admittedly it doesn't look as glossy as the DSLite, but I see myself having be more careful with it than I wish to.

I realised this hasn't been posted. Some sort of wet dream crossover with two of the franchises/characters I have grown the absolute fondest of in my recent gaming years. I have no idea how it'll play, but I hope.. the.. you know.. developers do. :O

All this next0gen handheld talk finally pushed me to get back my DS from my cousin and I bought 999. Interesting game, but it suffers the same thing as Pheonix Wright - you mostly read and the text pops up so slowly I become tired really fast! There are fewer animations (almost none) to make things more lively. But the story begins in an interesting way, I'll finish it.

I bought 3DS and Zelda today.

I don't really remember anything about this Zelda game. I have played it once like 5 or 6 years ago in that GC Zelda collection. It looks pretty nice and 3D effect is surprisingly good. Definitely happy with the purchase :)

Oh and if someone wants to add me to that friend list thingy with those weird codes and stuff just ask.

This week's eShop update gifts gamers a free and updated version of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords.

Four Swords is a multiplayer-focused flavour of Zelda for up to four players. This new Anniversary Edition adds single-player support and two extra areas.

3DS and DSi users get the download free to mark the legendary series' 25th anniversary. It will be available until 20th February next year.

So I finally found this thread!

I finally got around to playing Kid Icarus on my 3DS. This game might be fun if the 3DS had a 2nd stick... As it stands moving the stylus while the device is on a stand isn't intuitive at all. Feels like I'm playing a SHMUP on the world's shittiest PC.

I had more fun playing Coded Arms on the PSP. Even using the face buttons to aim worked out better. Shame it's not an option in this.
