After spending more than 25 hours on Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, we can safely say it's the best action-RPG made by DON'T NOD and they really have upped their game. It's not perfect of course as it lacks the enemy variety of bigger titles like Elden Ring, but it improves every single thing they did in Vampyr, which we really also enjoyed at the time. This new game seems more inspired by the God of War series than by the From Software titles, but it works very well and it feels less and less like a double-A experience. We have a full gallery of nice screenshots to share with you provided you don't mind seeing some of the many landscapes the world has to offer, but we also recorded a gameplay video of the Xbox Series X version of the game so you can see it in action. It shows more advanced characters so you know what to expect from the combat system, but we mostly stayed in the early areas of the adventure to keep you away from spoilers. Enjoy!
