GSY Video PS4 Xbox One Switch PC Xbox 360 PS3

More Switch coverage with another port by Capcom as we have finally found a bit of time to record some docked gameplay of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen on Switch. Obviously, the game has aged quite a bit since it was after all a 360/PS3 release originally. If you play on your TV, you'll notice the pop-in issues and the blurry textures more than in handheld mode, but it will however be easier for you to appreciate what's going on on screen when in the midst of battle. Choose your side!

Almost a year after the release of Dragon's Dogma, Capcom gives us Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, which includes the original game and its brand new extension. This new edition also comes with a HD texture pack, but it's not that obvious to see the difference honestly (old versus new). The main interest lies obviously in Bitterblack, the new hostile environment which is made available very early in the adventure - should you be a newcomer. Beware though, as this is not a place you want to go to unless you reach a certain level - as proven in our last video.

Here's the launch trailer of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen as the game is now out in North America (April 26 in Europe). The game comes with the original content plus Bitterblack Isle, a new underground realm to explore with new quests, foes, weapons, armors and improved travel system. The title is aslo available on the Playstation Network while the Games on Demand version is coming this Summer. We'll share our videos soon.

jmd749 @nostradamus: Yes, Talos Principle is one of those overlooked gems of a game. For my 2nd play through I started it in VR using my Oculus, havn't got very far. I'd highly recommend it to any puzzle fan (47 minutes ago)

nostradamus some pacing and life. I don't mind the puzzle zones trigger some quiet time, all fine and dandy, but the awfull back and forth in the whole island withou a melodic sound? even crafted in the game or (1 Hour ago)

nostradamus first thing i did for the "no music" The Witness was give a middle finger to Blow, and use MP3 or youtube to stream so classic composers, and give the dull game world (every one is dead how original) (1 Hour ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus and its funny as hell how thsi game has some organ/gregorian chorus (picks up in the key moments) for the soundtrack. it's sublime (these are the dudes who made sesious sam?! L.o.l.) (1 Hour ago)

nostradamus the dev's walking sim "now you get it" to appreciate a good puzzle. Still love The Witness, but i like direct simplicity more. (1 Hour ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus it even has the whole Tetronimo thingy going on. its way more barebones (mixture of its own game or a mod even) but its a breath of fresh air to take a puzzle game that doesn't make you suffer through (1 Hour ago)
