Trailer 3DS

Codemasters has unveiled the 3DS version of F1 2011, which is planned for November 25th. Developed by Sumo Digital, the game includes all the teams, drivers and circuits from the current F1 season, and it offers many multiplayer modes. Here is a trailer of it, coming with a few images and a press release.

The Buddh International Circuit in Delhi is the new India track on which this weekend's Grand Prix will be raced, so Codemasters has released this video presenting it in F1 2011.

It is with some delay we offer videos of the PC version of F1 2011. All captured in 1920*1080 and 60 frames per second with Fraps, which explains a few slowdowns (without Fraps game is very stable). Each video is played with the G27 without any driving assist, tires and damage simulation on, in custom Grand Prix mode, AI on Professional. In the video of Monaco the Safety Car can be seen after a head to tail, causing a general pile-up. In the Budapest's practice one, the track dries over the laps.

As promised, we can now show you some gameplay footage of both console versions of F1 2011. It should help illustrate what we said about the game in our review this week. Unfortunately, not much has changed in the technical department on PS3. If you own both systems, you would be well advised to choose the 360 version as there are fewer aliasing issues, a better framerate and more vivid colors overall. We captured all the videos in HDMI so it has nothing to do with the way we proceeded. I used the Fanatec wheel on all videos, except for the one in Dabu Dhabi where I used a standard controller. On the 360 videos, the AI is set on Legend whereas I chose the Professional difficulty setting for the PS3 footage. All driving assists are set to off.

GSY Review PC Xbox 360 PS3

F1 2010 was released last year on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was a long awaited opportunity for Formula 1 fans to enjoy their beloved sport after several years without much to put their hands on. The game was much appreciated by players and the press, which kick started the genre again. In this regard, the release of F1 2011 together with the current season is no surprise. Now is this year’s game an actual evolution or just a mere update of the previous release? Find it out by reading through our review.
