As we were sent a PlayStation 5 copy of Ghostrunner 2 ahead of the game's release, we've been able to prepare a lengthy video showing various gameplay sequences, including a segment dedicated to the bike. This sequel is excellent in terms of gameplay and feedback, but it's not always easy to play with a gamepad. The developers have done an amazing job when implementing controllers, but it's so fast-paced that it takes some getting used to. Combat and platforming sequences can get very challenging even early on in the adventure but it remains very motivating nonetheless. Not everyone will have the patience to beat the hardest passages of course, but the satisfaction you get when you get is well worth the efforts. It's just a shame that image quality should be so disappointing in all graphics modes. If you prioritize performance it's obviously a bit worse but the game is smoother this way so it's probably best if you avoid the mode that pushes quality, especially if you don't own a VRR display (though if you do, don't expect all the drops to stay unnoticed). The developers told us that both modes aim for a 4K image (upscaled from a lower resolution) but the reconstruction method they used isn't especially convincing. Thankfully, it does not ruin the fun of the game, which remains a worthy sequel to the original.
