Not sure there are a lot of dads here, but after Horse Club Adventures 2, here is Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch, which looks a lot like Breath of the Wild aesthetically. The game could be easier to play for young players as jumping requires a bit too much precision in our opinion. We also encountered a few bugs like when a bridge we had built kept disappearing every time we came back after rebuilding it, forcing us to do it all again and again. The character animation could also have used a bit more work, as he/she looks rather weird when walking (it's maybe because of the horse though). Despite its shortcomings, we have to say we quite enjoyed exploring the island, to the point we spent more than five hours on it without our kids. That said, we also had our share our frustrating moments, when our horse would refuse to run fast enough to jump a gap during a race, just because he had suddenly gotten scared...
