Old-school first FPS Ion Fury is getting an expansion this Summer. Titled Aftershock, the new content will see Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison back in her fight against Heskel in new areas with new enemies, new weapons and a Hover Bike for high-speed chases and vehicle combat.
Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison will frags her way onto PS4, Xbox One and Switch when old-school FPS Ion Fury launches on May 14. Physical versions will be made available on June 26 through the official site.
Released yesterday on GOG and Steam, retro FPS Ion Fury is already getting a lot of praise for its great experience. Set in a Neo D.C. crippled by criminality, the title stars Corporal Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison and her faithful Loverboy, a 18-round triple-barreled revolver. On top of the campaign, the game features Mapster32, an updated version of Duke Nukem 3D's level editor. Console verions are planned for a later date.
Ion Fury, the old-school Build Engine shooter from 3DRealms, Voidpoint and 1C Entertainment will leave Early Access on PC August 15 and will launch later on consoles. Formerly known as Ion Maiden, the title features Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison in first-person perspective this time while she goes on a deadly date with Dr. Jadus Heskel and his army of cyber-cultists.
