Layers of Fear is back to haunt you, this time on Xbox One. If you do not know the game yet, feel free to read our quick review available here. The atmosphere of the game is very oppressive, but lots of framerate issues sometimes make it really hard to enjoy this haunted house. Like The Solus Project, we hope that Bloober Team will find a way to improve this in a future patch.

Layers of Fear will finally be available on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 tomorrow, and after completing the final version, we can now tell you a bit more about our experience. Inside, you'll find our verdict, a couple of gameplay videos of the PC version and images (including some of the incredibly creepy press kit we were sent last week). Enjoy!

Trailer Xbox One

The great horror title Layers of Fear has been approved for the Game Preview program on Xbox One. The preview build will be available later this Fall and if you haven't try it on PC this will be your chance to experience the promising game from Bloober Team. As a note, the game is done "in about 80%" and "upcoming patches will mostly focus on bug fixes and adding additional content".

If you were disappointed by the cancellation of Silent Hills, stop what you're doing and check out our videos of Layers of Fear. It is indeed very reminiscent of what P.T was and we mean it in the best possible way. Visually, the game running on Unity 5 looks quite stunning even at this stage, and the experience it offers is one to remember. That is why we strongly advise you give it a chance, even if it's only available in Early Access. For barely $10/€10, you'll get more from the game than from many finished titles. We can't wait to see what the talented developers behind it will add in the months to come.

The psychedelic horror title we talked about a couple of weeks ago has hit Early Acess on Steam. Layers of Fear plunges you into the mad mind of a painter who whish to finish his magnum opus.
