As expected, the new PSSR arrived this week and significantly improves the visuals on a number of games, including those that haven’t been updated—since, much like the Boost feature for PS4 titles, you can force its use by enabling an option in the console’s video settings. As a result, we’re bringing you a comprehensive video showcasing no fewer than twelve different games, with more to come in the coming days if we can find the time to cover them more thoroughly.
Sony finally decided to broadcast a new State of Play in order to show us what we can expect to see on PlayStation 5 in the upcoming months. Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is shaping up to be a very respectful remake of the 2004 cult classic, as proven by the new trailer release by Konami earlier today. Still no release date announced, which is a shame, but it is safe to say that it should not come out before next year now.
