While Miguel is still asleep after a hard first day on the busy E3 showfloor, let us take you back to the past, in 2013, back when Metro: Last Light was originally released. With the annoucement of a third installement in 4A Games' franchise, people have been quite excited to find out what the Ukranian developers will be able to achieve on current gen hardware. The 2 following videos will serve as a reminder of what they were capable of in terms of visuals 4 years ago.

It's been a pretty busy summer in terms of homemade videos. Of course, there was Gamescom in Cologne, which allowed us to bring back a lot of content, but we also covered almost every possible release in the past two months. Because the team is not getting any bigger, the French side got a bit more content than than the English side, but we sincerely hope you still appreciate the effort. More to come in the coming weeks, with the release of long awaited titles such as GTA V obviously, but also all the other games which will ship between now and the end of this year. Next gen is around the corner and we are rather excited to see what the new consoles have in store of us. However, the next months will also be fateful for us, as we still need to see if Microsoft and Sony will consider us worthy of a debug consoles as they did in the past. What's important now is that we are truly motivated to continue our work for as long as we can, and with all the projects we have in mind for the website, we can only hope we're given the opportunity to make them come true. Many thanks to all of you and special thanks to all the developers who have always shown us how supportive they are of our work. We wouldn't be here anymore if it weren't for all of you.

After our PC videos a few days ago, time has come to discover the 360 version of Metro: Last Light. As you can see, 4A Games' title looks very good on 2005 hardware and even tough some effects have been toned down, it is as atmospheric as ever. As you know, we have particularly enjoyed this sequel to Metro 2033 and we hope to see a new installment in the franchise in the near future. The Ukranian developers have proven they can achieve some impressive results in difficult working conditions, can you imagine what they'd be capable of if they were given as much as some other AAA studios?

Back when the first Metro game was released, a lot of people complained about its clunky controls and its linear structure but as for me, I was mesmerized by its atmosphere and except for one frustrating and crazy sequence towards the end, I had a total blast with it. Needless to say I was really excited to receive my review copy of the PC version of Metro: Last Light last week. To find out Gamersyde's verdict and enjoy our numerous 1080p/60fps videos, you know what to do.
