Now that the embargo has lifted on most Resident Evil Requiem content, we can share a video of the PC version (with Path Tracing) without the French commentary we had to record for our review. The video is only available in its YouTube form however, since the problem with our servers has not been fixed yet apparently.
While we are all eagerly waiting for the release of Resident Evil Requiem, still scheduled for February 27, we were surprised to see that Capcom has succumbed to the lure of product placement, with the Porsche and Hamilton brands. These collaborations were unveiled at last week's showcase, which we are only able to share with you now. Only the YouTube version is available here because we encountered problems with our servers and we don't know if they have been resolved. We apologize for this, of course.
To close the two-hour Summer Game Fest opening conference, Geoff Keighley brought out the heavy artillery with Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth episode in Capcom's great saga. It's not all though, as we were even given the release date, February 27, 2026. Next year is going to be pretty busy for the Japanese publisher with Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword also planned for release.
