It took its time, but a year after its arrival on Xbox Series X|S and PC, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is coming to PlayStation 5 this week, and this time, we were lucky enough to receive a code for the game so we could give you a quick review. To accompany our impressions of this highly anticipated port, we've also prepared a gameplay video comparing the two graphics modes available in the game.

Thanks to a good friend who has a Game Pass subscription, we can finally share some gameplay footage of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which came out three weeks ago on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Sadly, our review key request was refused, and there wasn't anything we could do, even after launch. That's why you had to wait for so long. The silver lining is that the game has received a few updates so it is in a better state now that during the review period. It's still a long way from a perfectly satisfying experience, but for those who have played it, it seems to be worth it.

Since we got our hands on a super HQ version of the latest S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl video, we thought GSC Game World deserved their own news article. The new release date has been set to September 5 so let's hope the weeks that are left will go easy on the dev team so they can finish the job in the best possible way.

With the uncertainty of the whole situation in Ukraine, we did not really expect to hear about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl before next year at best. Still, GSC Game World just released a brand new trailer of the game.

With everything that has been going on in Ukraine these past few months, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has logically been delayed to an indefinite date. That said, the studio still managed to release a new video of the game and we can only be grateful. It's impossible not to think of all the developers and the dangers they have to face because of the war...
