Today's Nintendo Direct Mini allowed SEGA to show a bit more of Sonic Frontiers, though we're still not fully convinced by what has been unveiled thus far. That said, we truly hope Sonic won't miss his return to 3D in this upcoming episode.

With yesterday's little teaser, we thought that Sonic Frontiers could maybe offer us an interesting 3D Sonic game. After watching these 7 new minutes of gameplay, we are however doubtful: the world seems quite empty and the gameplay unfortunately a bit boring... You can make your own opinion with the video below.
Here is a little preview of Sonic Frontiers, and for once what we can see of this new 3D Sonic looks pretty cool. We should also know more about the game during June.
The most famous blue hedgehog in the world is about to take a leap of faith in a new episode which will apparently be open world. From what we can see in the first trailer of Sonic Frontiers, Zelda Breath of the Wild seems to be the main inspiration so we're curious to see how it will pan out.
