SUPER BOMBERMAN COLLECTION was released on February 5, and with all the announcements from Sony's State of Play a bit more than week ago (and the release of the last two Silent Hill games), it shows Konami's new commitment to video games. It's obviously a great pleasure to be able to count on the Japanese publisher again, especially since this collection, which includes the first five BOMBERMAN games (including the fourth and fith, which were only released in Japan), as well as the original Bomberman (in lowercase letters) 1 and 2 from the MSX, ZX Spectrum and NES, really does things right. The menus are very well designed, each game includes the original documentation from the time scanned for the occasion, hundreds of artworks are available for fans, and you can even listen to all the music from the different games. This compilation has been put together with a real love for the series, and if, like us, you discovered it on the Super Nes, you'll definitely get your money's worth. Especially since the different games are still just as enjoyable today as they were back in the days, whether you're playing alone or with a friend. Note that the compilation includes various filters and screen options, as well as the ability to use rewind.
