We've been telling you about The Invincible for a bit of a while now so we're happy to be allowed to share some gameplay footage taken from the preview demo we were sent a few weeks ago. As you will see, it is really a story-driven adventure that seems to lean on the walking simulator genre. It's hard to be fully sure of its potential but its atmosphere is really spot-on and its Firewatch-vibe is something that we really like a lot.

Eerie, mysterious and atmospheric The Invincible from Starward Industries had a 5 minute-long gameplay showcase during the PC Gaming Show and here it is now in high quality. The studio also entered a publishing partnership with acclaimed 11 bit studios. The title will be out in 2023.

A year after its announcement, the retro-future thriller The Invicible gets a landing page to commemorate and coincide with the 100th birthday of Stanisław Lem, the author of the book the game is inspired by. Starward Industries, a young Polish studio founded by developers who worked on The Witcher 3, Dying Light, Cyberpunk 2077 or Call of Juarez; unveiled The Invincible. The game is described as a "100% solo" first-person scifi thriller set in a retro-future atompunk world based on the novel by Stanisław Lem. The story follows a space scientist who uncovers terrifying secrets on hostile planet Regis III while looking for the missing crew of the spaceship.
