The Last Hero of Nostalgaia came out on October 19 but we have been so busy recently that it was impossible to give the game some proper coverage before now. As you are about to see, this title is a sort of parody of The Dark Souls series with an an impertinent narrator who is a bit reminiscent of that of The Stanley Parable. The way the world is built with shortcuts and the combat system reprise everything we have come to love in From Software's productions, but we're not quite sure if the brief stutter we get every time we get hit was intentional or if it's a technical issue. It would be odd as it only occurs when an enemy touches the hero, but other than that, the game runs perfectly well. If it's meant to be this way, we wish it were possible to deactivate it as it's quite distracting.
