The Town of Light is clearly not a game for everyone. First, it's what people now call a "walking simulator", a genre that many want to stay away from because of the usual absence of real gameplay mechanics that come with it. Secondly, its main topic (medical institutions for the mentally ill in the early 20th century) is undeniably disturbing. It is based on true historical facts, the hospital where the story is set, having existed for real. Finally, the game still suffers from quite severe stuttering issues which are quite annoying.

MikeManiac61 @MrWhite: I think they started a little bit after they were done with RE2. People were always asking for it and the power of nostalgia is strong. (3 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus clear by the trailer visuals and details. I just hope all the RE7 tech and novelty (gore/damage) at least is intact and not downgraded in any way. (3 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus of RE2 enabled the continuation and greenlight of RE3RE, but not for it to be a flagship release, it isn't made by capcom, it has great visuals, but doesn't seem to be on par with RE2RE, its somewhat (3 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus small endeavor but soon after the announcemnet it went from side project to the next big thing. Its always a gamble. Its clear that RE3 is lucky to be made as RE8 surely is on the prep, but the sucess (3 Hours ago)
