THQ showcases the very long named WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007, with a bunch of screenshots filled with big muscular young men giving hugs to even bigger muscular young men, in all their 1080p glory. We are aware of your interest in this kind of scenery, so we'll talk about this game as often as possible. And please don't complain, this game is all we found to replace Rumble Roses XX in the news.

Seriously though i have played FNR3 and wasn't impressed all that much, i think the skin textures in this game look far superior..

And yea i know WWE games are rarely good, but i was refering to its graphics...

This is another title coming to the 360 that was once a Sony exclusive. With Microsoft swiping so many titles, alot of PS2 owners may become pressured to purchase a 360. Or maybe they already have.

hmmm, im not sure on this, i've actually got that newest WWE game ( im not into wrestling at all mind you )

And graphically, the PS2 version looks better, Everythings a little to blury for me.

Rey mysterio's pants are always shiny. You probably already know that, but i've seen people on other forums point it out and say its because the 360 makes everything look plastic an I was thinking huh?? They obviously don't know much about wrestling :)

Sheps i dunno what ur talkin about i have the verison for ps2 and this looks a hell of alot better then the ps2 version (wwe raw vs smack down) and the gameplay is actucally pretty fun... not for single player more or less but its good when ur drinking with budies or playing online its just good for a luagh i cant wait to see this title

Nothing wrong with 1080p (it's for PS3 also, after all), but this is weird. Look closely. In fact, zoom in on some of the jagged edges.

Is it just me or do these look like 720p images UPSCALED to 1080p?? I could be wrong, because that doesn't make any sense, but they really do look like that. Somebody back me up.

Most of you doesnt seem to know the WWE good and sadly, many people here seem to dislike wrestling in general. Me personally, i am a big wrestling fan and i enjoyed wrestlemania 22 last weekend. Anyway, i cant wait to get my hands on the loveley rumble roses, but this here looks really good, too.
I really like the sweat on cena, and i think we havent seen such realistic characters in any wrestling game before.

yes i read a preview of this on gamespot and they wrote:"All screenshots and video are from the Xbox 360 version"

LOL, and to think I was going to reply to you saying "the skin textures in FN3 look much better". I think this game has too much shine to the fighters, it doesn't quite make it. Oh and the HDR in Fight Night........I don't think this game is even using such nice effect, and if it is, it's not using it right.

Weird thing is..it's more interesting to watch the next gen characters than their real life counterparts.. Game graphics have gotten that good.

Oh and since smackdown series is the best in wrestling games..it's great to see the franchise coming to the xbox360 as well

It doesn't look as good as Fight Night Round 3 at the moment, especially when most of those screenshots is darkness but it'll most likely end up looking very similar graphically to it.

Yeah, and there's no such thing as progressive or interlaced on a still image. The images have 1080 vertical lines, yes. A lot of screenshots get upscaled when they're captured during development. Some Xbox screenshots are over 2000 pixels wide in their original formats.
