Now a multiplateform game, Fatal Inertia comes back with a bunch of 21 screenshots, showing a quite beautiful game. We just hope that, gameplay-wise, it'll have more to offer than your regular wipeout clone...
For some reason (even though it's probably a completely different game, besides floating vehicles) this made me think of Jet Moto. Man, that was a FUN game! Anyway......
I'm sure it'll have another tune-up before it launches... i just hope there will be lots of ways to get owned while racing--it'd be sweet if you could plow through the trees in the forest track, causing them to fall over your opponents, but then again you'd probably be going so fast it'd be easy to dodge them.
I am assuming this game will feature weapons. If so, I hope they are varied and have some new ideas. Also, why does this game not look better than quantum redshift?

Mmmm I see... Exclusives are in the way to extinction.
That doesn't necessarily follow. I think the reason you're seeing companies like Koei move multi-platform is because they're realising that for now if they stay PS3 only, they're not going to make jack due to the tiny installed base. There's always going to be first party exclusives, and currently we're on track to see a rather large number of top shelf third party titles exclusive to the 360 as well (GOW anyone? Blue Dragon? How's about Mass Effect or Bioshock?).
I agree with your point up until the end. 3 of the games you pegged as 3rd party exclusives are actually what would considered 2nd party exclusives. The reason is that MGS was directly involved in production. Look at the sites for any of those games and you will see the MGS logo displayed. These games are exclusive because they belong to Microsoft and could never go to another system.
I'm not having high hopes for this one. I didn't even have that when Sony firstly let go of that prerendered movie quite a while back... and these staged shots doesn't improve that either. The game is looking very flat lighting wise and just quite unispiring overall to be frank.
Seriously, what this needs is a artdirector with some guts and management to back him up. The ships are some of the least cool vehicles I've seen yet in a game. look at this:

But those titles are still being developed by independent studios. Of course MS was/is involved from a financial perspective, just as Sony is with their exclusives, no developer would ignore a big market segment unless somebody made it worth their while.
