Adriano signs for PES6

Konami announced that the certainly very famous brazilian soccer player Adriano has signed to be on the cover of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 at the end of the year. Along with the press released was these images from the PS2/Xbox version, and also a render from the "next-gen" one.

to deftangel put your resollution to 480 p and use the zoom function in game for pes 5.you will only lose 1/10 of your hdtv!

It might fill the screen more but it looks a hell of a lot more. Plus the fact PES is supposed to be in 4:3, so filling the screen deforms the image making everyone look short and fat.

Each to their own though.

That 'render' is nothing too impressive. Render implies that it's not real time from the game and is an artist impression. Considering that I was very surprised to see such square looking forearms. Look at the bandages, the arms appear to be octagons, which look very weird.

Fortunately for Konami PES has always been about the gameplay above all else. Hopefully they will get the netcode right this year and I'll still be playing it the same time the year after.

just like u said it cant be a render....it looks in line with the other screenshots...and yes, they could use more triangles for the forearms....but really,my attention is focused on his face....its quite detailed....and u can also see some seat...

Adriano, one of the best players of the world without a doubt! This guy plus ronaldinho gaucho will crush the others nations in the world cup naturaly.

I'm brazillian and I think that is cool a player like Adriano be the cover of the PES6 box. Just a question. Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is Winning Eleven 10? In brazil we play the american or japanese version that is called Winning Eleven.

Good luck in the world cup North Americans and Europenas hehehe!

Pois é. O brasil não foi bem contra o jogo da Croacia(mas ganhou :P), e Portugal está com um bom time também. Acho que vai ser uma copa muito mais competitiva. E portugal tem o treinador brasileiro Felipão, o melhor tecnico do mundo. Com ele que o Brasil foi campeão, com ele que Portugal pode ser campeão. Vamos ver então final Brasil vs Portugal... Seria interessante!

Pro Evo Soccer 6 is actually Winning eleven 2007. The original Winning Eleven 10 is a joke, with barely a few improvements from winning eleven 9. Konami decided to release winning eleven 10 only in japan because they wanted to release a winning eleven before the world cup. However, Winning Eleven 2007 will be a better product, and thats the one the rest of the world is getting as Pro Evo 6.

but u cant deny it looks good....just compare that adriano model to some virtua tennis 3 player model.....u will notice they put more triangles in adriano ears compared to the vt3 models ones, although in pes u have to render 22 players at once while vt3 has to render 4 players at once,at least....
