2K Games just released the superb TV ad of Bioshock on the 360 marketplace, as well as a playable demo. Very nice surprise, and the commercial is just brilliant.

doubt this ad will be allowed in the UK since it uses CG to look like actual gameplay, after the CoD advert incident over here, games arent allowed to do that anymore.
they are, it just needs to clearly state that the footage shown is not representative of gamplay.
love the trailer tho, very well done. not had a chance to d/l the demo yet however, being at work and all. whats the framerate like for those who have had a chance to play it, idealy from someone who isnt biased.
I just finished the Xbox 360 demo, and I have to say it was pure awesomeness.. I mean from the beginning main menu piano sounds to the end trailer, this game just breathes pure class and originality..
It looked very nice and ran very smooth.. Gameplay and controls were also very good aswell.. It even made me forget I was playing a FPS with a controller most of the time, and that says a lot for me.. The atmosphere just sucks you in..
I hope the PC demo comes out quickly, so I can see how it runs on my PC..
I'm just... trying to download it, and *sniff* It has been 4 hours, and I've beaten castlevania sotn in the meantime, and *sniff* IT IS ONLY 30% FINISHED! Nothing.. in the universe. Has ever tooked this long with a 7mb internet speed!?
Everything about this demo is just perfect. Gfx, sound, control and whats most important gameplay feels fresh...what Im trying to say is WOW It definitely meets da hype. Simple as that :D
It is interesting how they try to puch big daddy as a tragic hero. When i heard that music and the empty music hall in Rapture i had this flashback to closing of the Shining.

feck ya man, Ive been practicing my French! And, yeah, one of my fave movies ever. Bioshock seems really great. I kind of wish there was a 3rd person perspective, for personal preference reasons, but It probably wouldn't add anything gameplay wise
Great ad! Up there with Gears' dream/mad world trailer. I hope they run this in movie theaters because some of the crap thats running in there now (like the harry potter game ad) is the other end of the spectrum (aka utter filth).
this game really has the best style ever. not the best gameplay ever but still excellent. loved the demo and the look of the game alone gets me excited.
