I really prefer the way this game looks to the first...it has very little to do with improvements and more to do with the epic setting...hopefully a pc version will come along at some point.
check out this video: they show a snippet of the same GOW2 trailer but this time for about 2secs you see marcus beating the hell out of a locust on the floor :D
Obvious touching up with insane amounts of AA, but honestly - Aliasing was never a big issue in GoW (especially when you consider the engine itself doesn't support FSAA and instead uses different blending techniques), infact it was barely noticeable. Everything else looks like it did in the gameplay video.
