really i think its better than adding an average horse...however the bear does look the Golden Compass...it was very boring...

looks flat shaded and blurry. can't even tell if I'm seeing pixel shading or not, especially on the characters and their armor. that's not a good sign.

there is no pixel shading...you can tell from games like Naruto rise of a ninja and the upcoming Tales of Vesperia and Prince of Perisa,,new game...

people fight on horseback and im just saying that i rather have a bear in battle than a horse...well if its a real battle than a horse but in this game i think bear fits better...

Love the art. Bear looks funny, but I doubt he'll be in my party often unless it's a must.

if you watched some gameplay trailers you can switch character on the fly yes.

i enjoyed the books but dakota the actor totally ruined the exp for me...also the horrible way the movie was written...bear was cool....golden compass was boring..

Not necessarily. By that I mean you can only control specific abilities via the connect action feature.

Like Aya's bow or some other character's ability.

You really only have full control over Capel. At least that is what I've come to believe.

Hmm, I'm not so sure, if you look at past Tri-Ace games you normally get to switch using the circe button (which I guess would be the B in 360's case)

I hope we get to change characters, having one playable character makes it pretty boring :(

You will only control 1 character's movements. And that is Capel.

It's not boring because you can still use the other character's special attacks, you just won't be running as them and attacking normally as them. And there's 18 other characters to play around with.

I've never been a fan of the hack and slash thing either, too bad it doesn't play like SO.

Don't think that'd be a problem. You connect with the magic caster, use their ability, and go right back to Capel and hack away.

It even takes the bad parts out of playing just a caster because you don't have to worry about defending or casting setup.
