Sega and Tri-Ace announced a few days ago the release this winter in Japan of a new RPG for Xbox 360 and PS3 called End Of Eternity. The official is now up and running so I've been able to extract these images and artworks.
Honestly, I'm so tired of the stereotypical, confusing as hell Japanese RPG names. Lost Odyssey??? Infinite Undiscovery ???????????? End of Eternity...-__-" ugh.
Looks a bit like Valkyria Profile 2... I hope it's not something like that. I hope it's a classic RPG.^^
But I really like the style. It reminds me a lot of PS2-RPGs, just more modern graphics. That's just what this gaming gen needs the most.

The End of Eternity is actually the name of a classic SF novel by Isaac Asimov, I wonder if they can even use that title legally, unless this game is based on the book which seems highly doubtful...
Don't care about "stereotypical" games..
Just wanna play more and more jrpgs, 'cause I missed a lot of them in a past few years.
Didn't like legs of characters on the screens though.
It seems to me that clothes ain't well detailed...hm?

The names are fine......there's nothing stereotypical about them
I am wondering about fighting system in it... 'cause triAce tends to do action-rpg games, right? Just like Star Ocean's and IU... and I don't really like it, I prefer oldschool turn based jRPGs.
Realistic? I dare you to go outside on a warm summers day.
Neon green in the grass and trees. Blinding white "bloom" on the white buildings. Intense blue skies. Reflective red's, green's, blue's and orange of the cars passing by on the street, glowing in the sunlight.
Realistic is NOT brown/gray! I'm sick of this idea that realism = brown or gray. Have you guys never been outside your room or what?
Heck even in your room your lamps are yellow/orange, lava-lamps are intensely red and friggin food is vividly colorful as well, oranges, lemons, paprika, tomatoes.
Get this through your heads, realism is colorful. :P
Sorry but i just had to rant, im so sick of hearing this about every game that looks colorful or brown. People defending "realism" or bashing colorful games for not being "realistic".
Yeah I'm sorry but, not very many games are ever going to have "realistic" color. Games will always push their colors and style to suit the games needs and make it more interesting. When they can replicate real life almost exactly, then maybe you'll see realistic color being taken advantage of.
Hopefully this will be more mature thats somthing thats making JRPG's bad the casting of early teens as heroes down. People wnt a more mature and complex story not just "Lol save the world with friendship and teamwork!"
