EA Sports released these 8 720p images of Madden NFL 07 Xbox 360 version. This year's edition of the famous US Football game should have much more content than last year's rather infamous version.
I have played 06 extensively and these pics looks much better. The videos do it even better justice!!! The animations look much improved over last year and they are virtually seemless now. I still miss the color commentary, but I guess there is always hope for next year...
Also, the v-sync problems from last year have completely vanished this year.
Well this looks better than mnfl 06 because of the latest ingame trailers ive watch over at gametrailers and ign, but these screens don,t show much of how the game actual looks because when the game is in play it looks way better than these screenshots.
It will probably be lame. I see alot of jaggies in the pics, especially the face masks. Cept for pic 5, that looks ok. Anyone who has played the NCAA demo, this is a caise for concern, because the jaggies in that game are unbearable.
And I'm not a fan of Madden, or EA, so this game will have to be really good (and I mean really good) to get my cash.
I like what they've done with the turf/grass textures, and the stadiums look more dense, but like Acert pointed out, the players really need self-shadowing.

I dunno what you guys are talking about this game looks great and look at the stadiums and the player looks crazy and lets not forget that beutiful grass you guys probly havent read this but in the rain the field gets torn apart because of your cleats and there is other stuff and the graphics did improve from 06 so sony must have you guys all cought up in the fake gameplay videos

Really? 5x Better? I hardly doubt that. This game looks and plays great, even with the lack of the extra features. Remember that they are having to animate 22 people all at the same time, plus all the environmental factors, the fans, the stadium, the sidelines, etc, so it isnt like they can make it look like Fight Night(2 people on screen).

Could your "friend" be any clearer on what he is trying to say? Maybe use some periods, commas, etc. But I do agree with the comment about the field, that is a major improvement over last year and something that the NCAA Football is really lacking.
These screens look much better than 06. I especially like the emphasis they put on the look of the jerseys. They made it look much more like the real fabric.
#80's shoes don't seem to be connected to his ankles in picture 8... I like the fact that they don't all look like pro-wrestlers anymore, but EA really needs to step up in the gameplay department...
oh man, that is horrible. and look at those ground textures. how much more repeating can you get! a one foot square texture repeated over and over for a whole football field. nice.
