GSY Video PC PS4 Switch

It would probably not be an understatement to say that the development of Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories was a disaster in its own way. See originally, the game was supposed to be released in March 2011 on Playstation 3 but it got cancelled a few days after its official release date. No less than 3 years later, developer Granzella announced they had acquired the intellectual property and that the game would finally come out on Playstation 4. Although the studio started from scratch on Unreal Engine 4, the final game which became available in Japan in 2018 still looked like a PS3 title, and not even a very polished one. Now in 2020, the game has eventually hit our shores on PS4, PC and Switch and we have 2 long gameplay videos to share with you. One piece of advice though, provided you don't mind the archaic game design and very rigid gameplay, stay away from the Switch version as it performs really, really poorly.

This runs with 13 fps on ps4. What is even more amusing - it is full priced release.

It's baffling. I don't even mind the archanic ps2-era game design. This thing is made with pennies and they try to charge 70 euros at release. :D

It runs OK on PC, has some areas where it drops FPS, but mostly solid 60. But the lightning engine is lulzy, you enter a corner and game almost becomes pitch black :D And all chars have super weird shading in closed areas.

Gameplay is super slow and it can be annoying but I love that choices really matter and you can truly behave how you want not many games are like that.

Demo runs awful on Switch too. Framerate makes it unplayable.
