Finally, we have been given the final release date for A Plague Tale: Requiem, which will come out on October 18. To celebrate the announcement, we are happy to share the 4.7 GB video Focus Entertainment sent us earlier. Enjoy the HQ footage!
It's very soon, which is great. I might download this video, but will only watch it after I played the game, kinda regret having watched the Xbox Showcase trailer already. I already know the game will be excellent, so there's no need to convince me, though I do like watching trailers and videos of games after I finish them - same with movies, gives some nostalgia and makes me think back on the whole experience.
To those on the fence or who might think the games' length is too short, the first game is available on Game Pass and is phenomenal - I plan to replay it close to the second game's launch. The second game will be available Day 1 with Game Pass, so it's a very cheap barrier of entry for both games.
I highly encourage anyone to play them, specially for a very cheap price. Plus if the unlikely happens and theyre not to your liking, Game Pass will still have hundreds of other games for a few bucks. Incredible value all around and the best deal in Gaming right now.
It looks interesting graphically, environments and characters are very good graphically but animations are pretty stiff and frankly the facial animations look very dated. The other thing I would point out is that for me at least, the constant talking between the main character and the kid already got old and I haven't played one second.
I'm a fan of these kinds of puzzler narrative story games. But usually I'm more interested in the worldbuilding.
I suppose this game has enough of it anyway.
