After a few weeks of rather uninteresting or even unexisting released, Xbox Live Arcade will finally wake up this wednesday with the release of Alien Hominid HD. It's not really a new game since it's the HD remake of a gamecube game (itself a remake of a flash game), but it's still better than a 20 years old game.

Great game, but due to i have it, and it will be slowing down the release of worms, i hope it fails :D

I hope it'll be max 800 MS Points though, 1200 is tooo much.

If this isn't a real game neither is Mega Man, Castlevania, Rayman, Super Mario Bros. ETC...ETC...

NB: I wanted to write that it's not really a new game. Of course it's a real game, I've been playing it since a few days now :)

Phew!! things seem to be back to normal this morning,(except for Jolli, but we all know he is not really human and aliens don't count) you guys were scaring me there for a bit.

I think MS needs to start releasing at least two games a week if they want to compete with Nintendo. This and worms in the same week would be too awesome for words.

Only played the old flash version so this is going to be a must buy. Hope Behemoth can start really working on Castle Crashers because it looks even more interesting than this one. There is never enough this kind of action side-scrollers.

If they dropped the hardness on this game a tiny tad bit it may been more fun to play, but you can barely survive anything, boss battles where easy they all followed a simple pattern...

But the random monsters who spawn is not, as it's almost impossible to see and locate the bullets when being fired upon, just goes way to fast.

It gets a little easier as you keep playing, but I agree that the balance between the bosses and the hell in between is a bit off. It does get easier though, survival is possible if you put your mind to it :P

I really dig it, looks awesome in HD too.
