Sega officially announced the coming of Samba De Amigo at the Nintendo Wii concert. Gamers will be able to shake both the Wiimote and Nunchuk like real maracas with the help of the sombrero monkey. This rythm production is developed by Gearbox Software and scheduled somewhere in 2008 in Europe.

Let's see.. I don't think Jet Set Radio Wii will happen, nor do I think Space Channel 5 Wii will happen.....
....
Get on with it then!
@Synce
I guess if it was on the PS3 it wouldn't be overated at all :S
THIS GAME WAS INCREDIBLE
IT NEEDS MARACAS THOUGH
But SURELY the Wii one will have plenty more songs.

Although there is a bit of a difference between something like DDR where you have some polygon dancers in the background, or a super produced game like Beatmania where you essentially have a music video playing, and a game like Ouendan, Gitaroo Man, Space Channel 5, et cetera.
I have to be honest and say I dunno in which category this falls. I didn't play it on Dreamcast, and much like Megido I appreciate another shot at it.
This game came out so long ago, 15 was a good amount back then
Not only that but it was a huge risk for Sega when it came out, not to mention a game with maracas was a lot more difficult back then.
I have this on the DC, complete with the maraccas, anyone who say's it is overrated needs a slap, the game is pure SEGA.
I wonder if the we version will have the tracks from Samba ver 200 as well.
What ever the Wii version won't be as good simply down to no Maracas :)
