Earlier this week, Activision launched the official website for the James Bond : Quantum of Solace videogame, based on the movie that will hit theaters in November. Not many details are known as of now, except that the main character will be Daniel Craig and that the story will also cover a bit of Casino Royale. Here is an artworks compilation (thanks Tiscali) as seen with the Flash animation on the website, which reveal some of the levels; Miami, Bolivia, London, Lake Como, Venice, Austrich, Siena and Montenegro.

Its good I guess that EA no longer has the license to Bond. But not sure if Activision is any better. I'm kind of surprised Sony didn't pick it up, being they now own the movies.

No, the official site says Treyarch.

But it WILL use CoD4's engine.

After Everything or Nothing there hasn't been a decent Bond-game anymore. So I thought this might be the one!

But man...Treyarch...They're not bad developers by all means, but I want a great Bond-game, not an "OK" one and I just don't see them making anything above the "OK" norm.

Goldeneye was 2-3 years of fun

Perfect Dark lasted was just a few months

That is how I see them and how I see Goldeneye as superior

you're kidding, right? after i beat goldeneye's single player, i played multiplayer for a little while and got bored of it right off the bat. perfect dark had MUCH more replay value and variety. and guess what, i still play perfect dark!

Goldeneye has aged so horribly it shouldn't be in any discussion about quality unless nostalgia is the only category.

I'm gonna have to agree with blmbox and Tinks. Although Perfect Dark was awesome (I even like PDZ), Goldeneye was the very game me and my friends played the most on my good old N64. It had much smoother framerate as well if I recall correctly.

Anyways, I sure hope they get the real Bond actor for voice acting this time! Last Bond game I played was Nightfire, the game was fun, but the voice acting made it feel like I was playing some random unknown agent and not the actual 007. :P

Perfect Dark is, for me, still the best console FPS experience created.

I can't think of any other FPS coming close, especially considering the timeframe it was launched at.

- Stellar multiplayer options
- Increased difficulty = more level sections opened, with more objectives
- Coop
- Counter-op
- All weapons has 2nd functions, and most of them were great (love laptop gun)
- Cool missions
- Cool challenges (love the duels)
- Cool multiplayer modes
- Goldeneye maps (facility, complex, temple)

No, can't find anything coming close.

Disagree. PD was brilliant, but Goldeneye had far superior level design. In fact, those level designs have yet to be bettered in ANY FPS since and this is a fact!

God. Enough with this Golden-eye-is-the-best-ever complex already. We KNOW Goldeneye was great. Give it a rest. Goldeneye was released 11 years ago. ELEVEN years. Some people just can't let go of the past, eh? We call them "old people".

I don't see ppl plaguing every Final Fantasy thread with "FF6/7 is the best, no FF will ever beat it", or Halo threads.

I don't think they mean serbia, but the actual Siena in Italy^^.

to the Game: Don't know could be good could be bad. I think it's pretty hard to judge a game just with artworks :p
