One thing that I keep thinking looks odd in the pictures and videos of BF3 is the players thumb on the rifle. It just looks realy odd. Some games make first persons look really odd on guns.

I wouldn't call it the "killzone" look. But I see what your saying; the industrial colours(desatured colours) and lighting.

I think it has a similarity to when I first saw Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 1/2 trailers and the HUD/Markers used in those.

But never could get into those style games...

Wow look at the textures on that gun. Phenomenal. I want to play this game. I love the animation in campaign mode. I don't think its realistic to expect the same level of animation in MP, but SP will be a treat.

This stuff looks awesome. Super excited for this game. I'm interested in how they will handle the campaign.

They need to find someone else to take the screenshots.
It's like they just randomly picked stuff out of a folder full of screen dumps and used some auto compression on them.

Wise.

At least these shots don't show the floating gun like the video =)

I agree with the "it looks better in motion" crowd but thats not really a problem as games are rarely at a standstill anyway.

I hate to admit it (as is everybody eventually-who has a console), but the console versions will look good, but not as sharp as the gameplay videos they first showed.

Not sure if you guys are familliar with PC's at all, and what graphics cards and CPU's are at their most current state, but they ran that demo with the highest priced intel chip, and two of nVidia's newest graphics cards (the graphics cards also have some sort of physics processing capabilities BTW)...each of those graphics cards run for 500 dollars a piece.

Fact of the matter is, they are not done making the game...at all, and by the time they are, there will be both new processors and graphics cards available, to which the game will probably require to run flawlessly.

PS-The game demo they showed ran at 30fps. Do you all understand what type of power is required to run a game 2x that, at 60fps...of this caliber? I do. Prepare to break your bank, or be somewhat salty with your console version. Ill get it for Xbox, if it looks good graphics/gameplay wise, but it will more than likely be the difference between Crysis 2 DX11, and Crysis 2 on 360 (Huge).
