EA has teamed up with four NFL players to create Operation Gridiron, get a glimpse of what it is inside. Battlefield 3 will be out at the end of the month.
Man can't wait till this gets released :D PC beta is awesome of course it has it bugs and glitches but according to DICE they have already squashed them.

Beta or no beta of MW3, they had a complete full MP experience a month ago that worked great (based on footages) from COD XP and the game isnt out until next month.
Will it be buggy yes, but so will BF3 no matter what devs say, just like any other game out there.

Sath stop it now!! how the hell can you even say that? The Engine for COD hasn't changed in ages so yes it's gonna work ok. Frostbite 2 is brand new because DICE and EA like to reward their paying customers by ploughing more money into their development teams to try and push more out of this gen (yeah i know that sounded sickly haha!!).
At least DICE wanna try something different and not Acti's tired, worn out formula that they keep churning out year after year because people like you and i buy into the bs! This year they can go take a flying f*** off a cliff as my money will be for BF and BF only!

better release on pc... which i dont think will mean all that much to EA when they end up only taking 40% that that MW3 will earn for activision.
Personally, though the beta's growing on me, i think they've shot themselves in the foot releasing such a glitched up broken demonstration of the game (one that is genuinely a beta) so close to the actual release. I can see it putting alot of people off the game (one of my mates, once hyped up for it, being a prime example). That coupled with their backing the pc version by heavily rotating pc gameplay footage for the passed few months may have not been the brightest of moves.
Hopefully EA will be smart and splash out on offering another fully polished demo before release

That Beta was a real reward...if your idea of a great reward is a double decker shit sandwich. COD does not need to change engine because love it or hate it, it is finely tuned to match the available horsepower in the current consoles. This is quite simply, a highly intelligent business model that allows the devs to make small tweaks and enhancements while working much more efficiently within a largely unchanged framework. Frostbite on console looks completely unremarkable, visually inferior for example to the Killzone games on PS3 or Gears 3 on 360.
If their goal was to push more out of this gen, then they simply failed as many are of the opinion that the visuals are actually below the standards of their own previous titles.
Innovation is fine providing you actually deliver but DICE clearly devoted well below the amount of required time making the console versions, too busy polishing all those "best graphics" awards I guess.
Gotta admit, I was pretty underwhelmed by the BF3 beta (Xbox 360 version). Had high hopes and, while it is good, I don't think it's enough for me to bite the bullet and get it.
Looks like Gears of War 3 will be the only shooter for me this year - fantasy RPG games FTW!

The beta, despite its shit ton of issues actually sold it to me. My feelings towards the game where that of indifference, i thought it was just another modern warfare themed shooter, played one, played em all. But it's set up so well and feels so good to play. Definately going to buy it. I DO need confirmation that all is well server side before i do tho. Nothing quite like a 31/6 K/D, only to be disconnected from the EA server mid M-COM dissarm. Once in while, sure, but every other game...lol, too frustrating for words.
