Indeed it is. That's why, in the fifth picture, the one with the huge fist, she's nearly naked. When she casts major spells the hair leaves her body to form the spell.
This is all from the trailer, nothing new here. The graphics are pretty ugly, which is why I want to see this in motion. Or it's pre-alpha or whatever.
i remember this game getting a lot of praise for it's graphics. which going on those screenshots is very much undeserved. it doesnt look all that great. dont like the style much, at least in terms of character design, but weirdly i do like the proportions of the woman...it's very aeon flux..thin body, long legs etc.
we'll see i guess. so far, colour me uninpressed. but then it's a genre that kinda needs to be played to get a decent feel of whats on offer.
Yeah the main character looks fucked up... big ass body, not to mention legs.... but the head is just waaaaay to small to coop with that body just looks so insane weird.

Yeah well i'd rather be a minority than a retard in this case. Besides, who cares what the press thinks? I mean the fact that DMC4 has the same average on Metacritics as DMC3 says it all, reviewers don't know what they are talking about. Half the game is backtracking, the combat is boring and somewhat lacking in nuance with only the two weapons available, the part where you play as Dante feels unbalanced and the game as a whole is just a huge letdown. It wasn't the graphics that were praised but the level design and the art.
It looks awesome to me and I can't wait for it to come out, kind of glad as I thought the game had died somewhere along the way, but good to see its still in development.

nope, it was the graphics, i distinctly remember the games visuals that where said to be the best on show at some game conference or other.
Not much impressed by this game.
Looks like a carbon copy of a game I also didn't like, DMC4.
And the main character looks really weird in her anatomy.
Not very appealing in terms of style and main character.
Going to wait for DMC 5. Hope it's in this pattern with DMC games : DMC1 awesome , DMC2 crap , DMC3 awesome , DMC4 total crap , DMC5 awesome ( hope ).

As long as the game is aware of it's own cheesiness it's all cool with me. A game that is silly and knows it is fun, a game that tries to be super cool but ends up silly is lame as f***. Hopefully this game belongs to the first category.
Looks like this is going to be a rip off of Devil May Cry just with some girl getting nude alot, will probbly be very popular with 13 year olds. The rest of us will just wait for DMC5

Well seeing as how it's the same team (or at least director?) that made DMC it's no big surprise that it's similar :P
It looks like it's had a graphical downgrade. :( I expect better from a Japanese Sega game, especially in light of recent games like GOW2, KZ2 and RE5.
Game looked sharper when it was announced. Anyways, Mad World, another game from Platinum Games was quite well received, so I expect that this game should turn out quite okay.
