We've been in 2020 for 5 days and the world already seems to be on the brink of chaos. Thankfully, this year should be a pretty exciting one when it comes to video games, with the release of highly-anticipated titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII Remake, DOOM Eternal, Resident Evil 3, Ori and the Will of the Wisps or The Last of Us Part II to name but a few. That being said, apart from AO Tennis 2 and Journey to the Savage Planet, January will be very quiet month to begin the new year, which should allow us to catch up with the late 2019 games we still haven't covered yet. Until then, the whole team wishes you a very happy new year with everything you can hope for, including the arrival of a long awaited new generation of consoles!

Looking forward to Half-Life: Alyx and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. and I don't even have a VR headset or a Switch. heh
You named a few, but there's two extremely glaring omissions called "Hollow Knight: Silksong" and Ghost of Tsushima, of which the former can never not be named in the few named, you see!?! Not forgetting all the unnamed, which are in the hundreds already announced for 2020.
Apart from that, I saw a news title today that over 8.000 games were released on Steam in 2019..... There are no words to express how insane that is.
Even if 7.000 of those are crap - we could even say that 7.900 are crap, 100+ games just in one platform is crazy. My point is that the first half of this year is already full of GOTY contenders, with the rest slated for 2020 with a lot of GOTY contenders as well.
In 2020, even more games might be released. Then there's all the unnanounced games for both PS4/XB1 and PS5/XBSX that will be announced and come out before the end of the year. And of course, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X - and possibly another Series, maybe Series S.
With all that in mind, this might be the best year in gaming. As we as the most chaotic and divisive in terms of GOTY deliberations and wallet and social life destroying. So sarcastically and non-sarcastically:
Happy 2020!!!
