The definitive Western title for the action-RPG from Koei Tecmo and Omega Force has been revealed: Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. The game will launch on Febraury 21, new trailer and screens after the jump.

If this game has fabulous cutscenes then I will bother playing it. Berserk has a fantastic story and the new anime did it no justice at all.
the salt in the would is that a videogame for a generic hack b' slash has Way better animation than a new anime show after waiting all this time. Anime is trash.

Seems you misunderstand the concept of Anime isn't to always follow the cookie cutter animation art style formula.
The Anime series takes a risk with it's CGi use and it actually works very well.
As far as the game, it is funny how the first attempt way back on Dreamcast preceded the Dynasty Warriors genre but was still an early 3d polygon evolution of the old 2d side scrolling beat em ups and hack and slash em ups.

Same goes for the original 1995 anime, just horrible, and after watching a bit further than only ep1 I can safely say both are shit shows. As to the animation techniques: Imo traditional animation =/= better if it's as badly executed as in the original show (compare that to Space Adventure Cobra from 1982 for example). Only animations that did the manga justice were the 3 movies, rest is forgettable, which is sad. But the new low will be this game, which will not only feature bad animation but also bad graphics combined with abysmal Warriors buttonmashing gameplay... *sigh*

People don't read books. They'd rather listen to some dickhead talk smack about shit they haven't a clue about, despite them claiming they have an education in a certain field. Its enough to convince (4 Hours ago)

Yes, we live in the information age, but most have lost the skill/ability of assimilating and interogating that info. That's why the small misleading sound bites on twitter/facebook is preferred. Sad (7 Hours ago)

Instead people consult the oracles on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. All of them with bastardised and warped views of the world driven by decades of repressed bigotry as a hand me down at dinner. (1 Day ago)

Look at what we've done with it instead. And you're 100% correct about the public now paying more through taxes and tariffs. That would have been obvious to anyone with a modicum of education (1 Day ago)

What's alarming with these two things is that on their own, they're two amazing things. The internet should have been a great gift to humanity in driving it forward. (1 Day ago)

with the usage of cg/animation, what a shit looking anime, by some of the worst anime standards. it's horrible.
