I don't like that they release the gameplay in so tiny bits. And by now we probably have seen most of it through the dev-diarys anyway.
Also I think promotion wise a E3 stage demo would have been far, far more effective than making a deal with GT and spike
it's so odd, yet impressive, how they were able to recreate that feeling of eeriness in such a bright, wide-open atmosphere. hands down to irrational for creating another big hit! ...and now we wait.
best looking console game yet. Kept thinking this is how uncharted would look if it was first person.. love the life in the characters. Cant wait for the 15minute version. And really hate its still over a year away.. why do they do this to us?

Yea, I wasn't instantly blown away by this, but it is looking really sweet.
Nice cliffhanger.. Atmosphere again is very good in this second Bioshock game.. One thing I don't like is the player's movement (controls).. It feels to artificial and floaty, not like a real person moving arround.. A bit more bobing would improve things already..

I've always found this more noticeable when you're not actually playing, unlike excessive bob which can be very distracting.
Maybe if I had played Bioshock (don't worry I'll get around to it), I'd understand the hype. What we've seen so far is pretty much scripted segments, and I don't really see what's new with gameplay or design. However, if the sky rails platforming is as complex as this video, I'll get on the hype wagon.
Otherwise, it feels like a waste gameplay-wise to have the setting in air.

agree'd. it was a blatant quick cash-in. 90% of the appeal of bioshock 1 was discovering and exploring this strange, new world. setting bioshock 2 in the same place was just *face palm* it lacked the great atmosphere too.
first game was awesome tho, and i'm sure this will be too, still consider system shock 2 the one to beat tho. that and deus ex are the king of this sort of thing imo.

I liked Bioshock 1 because you were a human in this...alien abandoned place and you got powers and guns, perfect combo.
