Almost a week before its release, BioShock Infinite gets a pretty TV commercial. Get it inside at full 1080p. Travel to the floating city on March 26.

Is this what we should expect of a next-gen bioshock game? It has some of that pre-rendered but with in-game assets, type of trailer.

It's hard to know what people other than those that have played the previous games will make of this trailer. It's difficult to appeal to an audience that doesn't realise games like this even exist. Does at least show some form of life being shot gunned to the face which does speak something to them. The trouble I guess is there exists an audience that would happily not label themselves gamers and just don't play much else other than cod or fifa for example. Not a problem of course and actually quite funny seeing devs trying desperately to appeal to them- not that you can blame them

No way on earth that grass is not pre-rendered bullshit.. IF it is, I'm playing this game for sure and I don't even like these kind of games.

Am I the only one who thinks that was completely pre-rendered? Did I miss something stating that was using in-game assets? Because I can't think of a single aspect of the game from the gameplay vids I have seen that looks remotely close to that video.

I hope this one plays very different than the first BioShock - which i found (despite the new setting) very boring gameplay-wise.

(strange how the design of Hooker also seems different during the video compared to the packshot shown in the very end)

There is a huge problem with rendering hair while also rendering all that grass with wind physics in what is supposed to be an action game... then consider that despite the upgrade of next gen consoles we won't see that because it costs too much time to developers.
