The multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will start on August 19th on PS4 and a week later on PC and Xbox One. Get a first look at it with the trailer inside.
A little typo in title, guys. Sorry, I'm playing smart-ass today. :-D Graphic wise (or how to say it) I always liked CoD games and played almost all of them. I just like it and this looks very nice.
Stopped playing CoD online after about 4-5months into Black Ops II. Looking forward to this...Or at least, looking forward to trying this because Treyarch.
If this doesn't 'ring my bells' so to speak, it'll be a long time before I care about CoD again (if ever).
Cod sp has always been the equivalent to the brainless hollywood action movie...you just have to be in the mood for it when you play it. Which is fine, you go in expecting great big explosive set pieces and you'll walk away having them delivered.
I just which they'd focus a bit more on the fundamental gameplay for sp now...bringing actual improvements to AI - cod always gets around difficulty challenge by simply throwing more at you...rather than having whats thrown at you anything more than brainless. This was particularly shown up in Advance Warfare...when you add verticality and such speed in movement. Veteran in AW is nowhere near the challenge it was in say MW. Adding 4 player co-op to the mix I can't see that getting any better (challenge wise)
AW is easily my fav fps online shooter this gen. They managed to make cod fresh again with it. The new freedom of moment making it the perfect twitch shooter for consoles imo. It's a shame it had a spike there where it was ruined by cheats.
The lack of a spec ops was also a real blow....so BO3 bring back 4 player co op has my interest...it's just the only thing that does so far...and this year it's up against some real big hitters in fallout 4 and battlefront. Be interesting to see how well the COD train does this year.
I thought AW was shit online, thanks to the exagerated steroid dash jumping zig zag crap.
One thing in BO3 that i found cool was that in SP you can use your own customized character. And depending on the gender you choose, you will get to see and hear their unique voices in cutscenes and in-game.
The crazy anount of split screen co-op options and treyarch are what's selling this to me. Might not be day one, much like ghosts and AW, but i'll definately be picking this up. Treyarch picking up the ball 343 dropped it seems.
