Looks great, just not so sure about the complete lack of visual feedback when an enemy mech gets hit. Surely they should shake or get pushed back or have debris fly off (even if it doesn't show)

Looking better and better, like the sand level. Like Slabs I would like more "feedback". Ditto from the world. Most of their effects (dirt and water) are textured particle effects.

If the gameplay is good (I am hoping for more than circle straifing), has a nice learning curve, and is decently long this could do well. Hopefully it does and they can make a full fledged sequal and take it to the next level.

From the pics i've always said the scenery/landscape looks really bland.
When it's running (as this vid proves) you hardly notice and certainly don't have time to admire the view.

Does anyone know if this game has jump jets for Mechs? Has anyone seen footage that includes this?

I'm realy hopeful for this title, it looks like the best chance yet for a Mech home-run on the console. My main concern is some of the smaller details and fleshed out gameplay. Heat disappation is an important part of the metagame in most Mech oriented affairs, and I didn't see a heat gauge (but perhaps i missed it?). Customizable mechs including tracks and I think I read quads sound really interesting.

Have to wait and see. So far the best next-gen Mech combat is in the Lost Planet Demo (not that Mechs are the focus there)....thats a blast if you haven't tried it. (X360 free demo online)

This game is looking really good. After MechAssault 2 I thought I would never play a Mech game again. Then this game came along and so far it looks like it's going to be really good.

Looks good but I think I'll need more detail on what's involved in the game before I might consider buying - it doesn't look that interesting in the clips I've seen.

I just love how smooth this game looks. There's a problem with the smoke not being affected by fog though... looks wierd.

The only thing that makes me cringe is the water when it splashes up it looks way too controlled for my taste.

From what I've seen- this game is being optimized for online play. Meaning... The graphics are sorta sucktacular. The Mech's look really good (not exactly 'great' yet) but the enviro's bite. I know there are a lot of Mech fans here- and that's causing a lot of you to say 'looks great!' or 'looks pretty sweet!' but honestly, as much as I like Mech Games- this one has a LOT of polishing to do. Like someone said about- 'Circle Straffing'; that's what it looks like we're in for. Circling and hiding behind whatever building box we can find.

Armored Core 4 is coming and that one looks like it may have more of what I'm after. But after Line of Contact... I think I found heaven on the Xbox...
