Codemasters just announced the upcoming release of HEI$T on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC during the fourth quarter of the year. It's an action game developed by Inxile set in San Francisco circa 1969. First screens inside.

my real thoughts are that they have a fisheye field of view on (like many games these days) and they really overexaggerated the muzzle flash because of the angle, and for "dramatic effect"...game needs work to say the least.

hmm, I think it's got some potential. For starters, these shots look damn real to me . . .. gotta give credit to a publisher, wo dares to release untouched material these days.
Anyhow, I welcome games like this over any new WW2 shooter. I just can't see 'em anymore (maybe except BIA3 . . . .. hehehe)
