The PAX East has begun and Microsoft has released some images of Crackdown 2 and its multiplayer mode Rocket Tag. The game will be available in early July. Update: Added a video showing the Rocket Tag mode in action.
hmmm looking abit better, still could do with more polish. I cant help noticing that theres no cars seen in the flying/gliding pic.. crackdown had an incredable draw distance
I hate being a graphic whore being a 3d artist myself, but the visuals when compare to other games look a little challenged.
But I was one of those people that brought the first game for the actual game and not the Halo demo, so with that being said, I am faithfully addicted to Crackdown.

Crackdown really does not have a good draw distance. The "cars" you are seeing when up high are not real. Move closer and they will dissapear eventually being replaces by real models.

Not entirely accurate. The draw distance was impressive on its own, but was taken down a notch by the LOD, which made the cars essentially boxes with lights. And they did a good job with faking the stuff when it was further then that. Plus if you used a scope you could see shit from real far away. Plus they already stated that they were improving that stuff from the very beginning when they announced it.
