Xbox 360

Konami released Dancing Stage Universe 2 in the UK and some parts of Europe last week, while more countries will get it on friday. The game features around 50 songs, around 10 of those are added for the European audience. Unfortunately I didn't get any dance mat with the game, so I can't really say too much about the game yet. I recorded this video of me playing the game with the game pad, mostly to show the interface and some songs in the game. The Tokyo Game Show is coming up this week (Blimblim is already there), so we'll have some more videos this evening of some other games before it gets all crazy on the site closer to the weekend.

how is the "conquest" mode in this one ? This mode was unbearable in the previous game, but also the only mode to unlock songs ...

Is this the same as Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2 in the US? Or a completly different game? I don't recognize many of the tracks.

Also you can use Metal dance pads on the 360, you just need to make your own adaptor (I used the konami pad). There is an awesome guide here:

It was intended for the old Xbox but works find with the 360. Totally worth if for the hardcore DDR fans.

  • KORNdog

KORNdog I would honestly be surprised if both the next Xbox and ps5 don't just look like simple black plastic boxes. (23 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog I can't imagine Sony coming along 10 years too late and adopting that styling when it's clearly not what is considered good design anymore. (23 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog I just look at Sony's consumer design and it doesn't fit at all. Electronics are about clean lines and boxy shapes. Even in the PC space that fuck ugly vent covered alien ware design has fizzled out. (23 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog @MrWhite: for the same reason they stuck a big metal.faceplate to the PS4 dev kit? I mean. They could have just made that a plastic box too. (23 Hours ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite It looks like a big dirty wifi router of some sort. Which makes sense if you think about where gaming is going. Especially if they want to make the PSVR2 wireless. (23 Hours ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite Yeah, but as I say, why not just make it a big ugly box, then? Why's it that shape? could be wrong, like. But if its close to the actual thing, I wouldnt be shocked. (23 Hours ago)
